Jardin du Luxembourg, 3 pm, October 2001 | I always like to check in with this faune dansant at the eastern end of the Luxembourg Gardens near La Sorbonne.  His carefree demeanor doesn’t change from year to year.  For this photo, I crouched down until my face was practically on the ground and shot up to get the effect of the statue in motion, almost touching the trees.
