Cimetière Père Lachaise, 10:30 am, May 2009 | It's the final resting place of some of Paris's most famous historical figures, but the beautiful Père Lachaise cemetery in the 20th arrondisement is also home to many whose names are not well known. I watched this woman as she quietly tended to a loved one's grave. She went virtually unnoticed -- a private event in a very public space.
