Musée du Louvre, 11:30 pm, April 2005 | I instinctively went to this spot in the courtyard late at night, set up a tripod and took this shot juxtaposing the pyramid with the facade of the Louis XIII-era Richelieu Pavilion.  Seen this way, these dramatically different structures don’t look the least bit incompatible to me -- in fact, they seem connected.
