Rue de Seine, 9:40 pm, April 2016 | Fish la Boissonnerie is my favorite place to eat in Paris, especially when I’m by myself and can just grab a seat at the bar. It used to be a fish market (“Poissonnerie”). All it took to give it a new identity was a subtle alteration to the mosaic facade (“Boisson” means drink in French). It's a convivial spot with nice people, good food and fine wine. Works for me.
