Pont Alexandre III, 10 pm, December 2000 | This flamboyant bridge is mostly appreciated (and photographed) in the daylight, but it offers a different kind of visual delight at night.  I rested the camera on a ledge to get this shot, being sure to include the Église du Dôme in the distance.  I’ve actually gone back subsequently and re-shot this scene using a tripod but I haven’t liked the results as much.
