Quai François Mitterand, 3 pm, April 2006 | As I noticed these two women walking toward me along the Seine near the Louvre, the photograph virtually composed itself.  The challenge, shooting into the sun, was to get the exposure right so that everything didn’t come out in silhouette.  It worked, and as a result the Seine and the trees seem covered with snow.
